Win 32 Trojan removal help...

Hello... Please HELP!!

My computer has recently been infected with a Win32.Trojan.RX ....
It has added a toolbar to my browser and constantly changes my home
page to a spyware/ adware removal page...

My fear with trying to get something to remove it is that I realize
that some of these other downloads and programs are the same thing...
they will eventually periodically recurr and try to convince you that
there is either a new virus, spyware, etc... on the computer and they
try to get you to buy more software ......

Can anyone help with either helping me on how to get this off my
computer or if there is a
credible adware/ spyware removal software out there that I can use???

I am barely computer literate.... so I am really a novice...
any help would be appreciated....
