Try scanning from a fresh LAN COMPUTER.. (which don't have anything)
after scanning from different viruses format that computer.
OR TRY scanning without loading windows.
or send this file to http://virusscan.jotty.org/ its a free project
which searches your file against many anti virus programs..

Cool well thanks for your comments both of you - i understand that you
can never be sure with a system that has had a virus/malware and the
only way to be sure is a full wipe/reinstall etc ..
That's true.
.. it's trying to convince a customer they need to pay for it is the thing :/
Tell them that the alternative is to pay you for the job done so far
and then you are out of there.
