Re: does anyone knows this email attachments?

Learner aka geoffb41NOSPAM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in
microsoft.public.security.virus,after much thought, came up with this
jewel:

Robert,
Why not at least let the enquirer know in PLAIN ENGLISH that you
should not run/open any attachment from an unknown source!

"update-kb4334-x86.zip"
it's a virus?

If it comes from an unknown sender, what does it matter if anyone
here recognises it or not?

Learner,

Just a side note,

I see by your message headers that you use Outlook Express as your
newsreader. Have you ever tried using a "real" newsreader to view
newsgroups? I do not think that OE is very safe and you would be better
off not using it(for mail either). You have learned to "munge" your
addy, why not take the next step in security? I use XanaNews for
newsgroups and Thunderbird for all of my mail(yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc).
I never worry about getting an infection reading any messages with
attachments.
