Re: Panda Titanium Antivirus ???

You mentioned NOD32. After using in the past many AVses (Pccillin, Panda,
Norton, AVG, a few others) finally I followed some advise in this group
(Damian's, if I remember), removed any of them, tried NOD 32, exchanged
several questions with their technical support receiving answers in 1-2
minutes (even late night) and decided to stick to it. Its footprint is very
small, time of full scan several times shorter then any other AV that I
used, technical support is great. Now NOD32 sits in my try and (hopefully)
I don't have such problems with system infection as I had before. You can
set (silent) updates even every hour. And now they're finishing work on a
new, even smarter, version. Nothing in life is perfect but NOD32 for me is
the most effective AV security to day.

I have never used their product before, I usually use Norton Internet
Security. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately Panda products have become really bloated recently .
Products
2007 should be lighter but they are still very high on resourses .

Anyway , you can try it ...
First make sure you have uninstalled your Norton from Control Panel ->
Add/Remove programs . You should uninstall all Symantec/Norton and Live
Update related stuff .Reboot and after that make sure , goto C:\Program
files and manually delete the folders with names Symantec , Norton , Live
Update

Then , I would suggest you run Norton's removal tool to make sure you have
completely removed this product

After that you can download Panda trial version from Panda's site
http://www.pandasoftware.com and install it .

In case you don't like it , I would suggest you try ESET NOD32
http://www.eset.com
NOD32 has no firewall in it but it works with every one you want
