AntiVir consistently does better at catching the malware as well as Exploit code.
When I submitted a VML in HTML Exploit last week, AVG and Avast failed to recognize it while
AntiVir did. I understand that AVG now recognizes this Exploit but I have not tested nor
received feedback on whether Avast catches that Exploit.
Thank you David. I used to use AntiVir on the 98 Second Edition side then it caused some errors so I unistalled it and am now using AVG Free on my 98 SE side. I like how AVG scans the boot sector when you start Windows 98 Second Edition. I appreciate your work in helping AVG stay up to date on exploits. I have tried Avast and the interface annoyed me and I do not plan to use it again unless given a compelling reason to use it.
