I must admit that I am using One Care with some anxiety, and I was
very troubled that it was not tested in the last round at AV
Comparatives. They say that was because it has not been made
available internationally. However, I am a conservative web
surfer, cautious to an extreme about email attachments, and use
IE7. For now, I am determined to test One Care, since its resource
usage is optimal on my PC. Previously, I have used McAfee and
Kaspersky and felt more secure using them. Regarding the Multi_AV:
I ran the Kaspesky component in safe mode - nothing found - but I
see no way to avoid deletion of detected items. What happens if it
has a false positive? I believe this is a disadvantage in using
command line scan instead of scans with a Windows UI. Possibly
command line should be used best where there is a known infection?
It is a command line scanner. There is NO quarantine capability and
it is meant as a removal tool. Therefore by default it will detete
what it finds. Maybe I can program a choice into the menu DELETE or
RENAME.
Rename would be great!!!
