Anyone using CA Antivirus 2007; a question

Can someone tell me if the new version of Computer Associates Antivirus
(2007) creates sets of ~DF files in the C/Documents and settings/(user
name)/local settings/temp folder on boot and reboot?
This is the only program I have running on the taskbar that might be doing
this on startup.
Apparently every time I boot the system, another set of these files is
created in the temp folder. The ones from a prior boot can be deleted, but
the current set can not.
Can someone using this program verify this for me please.
I'd like to know the best way to clean up the temp folder. I believe Disk
Cleanup only deletes files from the Temp folder over a week old. If these
files are created on every boot, I'm going to have a mess of them in there
over a week period.
Many thanks for any assistance with this.
Dudley
