No , because when you update Adobe Reader it automatically removed the old
version and leave the new one only . Although you might not have the
latest , the really latest version , it is not so big problem :)


New to the board and missed the previous post about Java updates. I
have a couple listed in my add/remove window and was wondering if it
was safe to remove these?

This isn't a "board", it's Usenet and the original question was about Adobe
Reader, not Java. Your answer is "yes" you should remove all previous Java
installs from Add/Remove Programs and only have the latest which you get
from Sun. Next time make a new post.

I think my question was polite and well intentioned. Your "reply" was
rude and "boorish". Please forgive my misuse of the term "board" it
was not meant to offend anyone and only demonstrates my experience,
however "old-school" it may appear to the so called expert - Malke.
