That's from a 20 month old thread on this newsgroup.

Getting information out of that guy was like pulling teeth too.

You might have better luck with a different newsgroup, say
microsoft.public.windowsxp.basic or the equivalent microsoft.public.*
newsgroup for whatever operating system you have. And give the Microsoft
Knowledge Base a try.

Something in your system is misbehaving, probably not malware.
