Virus?: Outlook won't start and cann't access antivirus websites

Hi.

On MS Windows XP, this morning was able to start MS Outlook, because I
get this error
message which closes the app:
-------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime
Error!Program:C\Progra~1\Micros~2\Office\Outlook.Exe. This application
has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
---------

In addition, I'm not able to access antivirus websites (symantec.com,
mcafee.com, ...).

Any similar experience?

Thank you very much.
