Hello Panda_man. Thanks for the instructions. I have installed your Panda
software and twice tried to do the scan in Safe Mode from the command
prompt. The problem is that I have so many files that the whole process
takes hours. I will have to do it over night. A number of viruses were
picked up and cleaned both times. I will let you know the full results
tomorrow.
NB - I had to reactivate my Windows registration after each scan. It seems
as if the scanning process triggers Windows into thinking there has been a
major change in the installation.
