There are some viruses that doesn't allow the users to visit the antivirus
vendors web-sites and also prevent the user from running their current
antivirus.
Ok,read that carefully :
You need to get an antivirus from another known-clean(100% clean) computer
Then copy it to your computer and then immediately boot in Safe Mode and
install it.
When you install it again boot in Safe Mode and copy its definitions.
Again in Safe Mode perform a full scan.
The easiet would be to goto your friends house and download from its computer
(his/hers computer have to 100% malware free)
Download
F-prot for Windows (trial) 3.16c
and F-prot's definitions (fp-def and macro-def ):
http://www.f-prot.com/products/home_use/
Then ,as I mentioned ,boot your pc in Safe Mode ,install F-prot in Safe
Mode and then unzip its 2 definitions files.
Then restart with booting in
Safe Mode with Command prompt
How to boot in Safe Mode /Safe Mode with command prompt :
Do this by repeatedly typing F8 while Windows is starting before
Windows logo appears.
Then you'll open the BIOS menu where you can choose to boot
the hard drive in SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND PROMPT
Type this
cd \ [ENTER]
cd "program files" [ENTER]
cd fsi [ENTER]
cd f-prot [ENTER]
fpcmd c: /disinf /auto /dumb /archive=3 /report=report.txt [ENTER]
NB! If the scanner simply runs for about 2-3 seconds and then reports that
it only scanned the boot sector and mbr it is likely that you did not put a
space in between the commands. There is a space in front of all the commands,
i.e. SPACE /disinf SPACE /auto etc.
Also note that [ENTER] means that you have to press ENTER button
That way F-prot would scan your computer and clean it from viruses
successfully (hopefully)
Good luck !
