Hi, thanks for your help so far.
OK I went onto mcafee and the scan said I urgently needed to download
viruscan so I paid the money and did so. this told me there was no problems
found. I restarted the pc and macfee told me when it came up that the pc had
a:
W32/ircbot.wormlms05-039
Where this came from I'm not sure.
I went onto bitdefender and scanned the pc and it also said there was
nothing wrong with the pc. I rebooted the pc and when it came back up macfee
told me I had the above worm and also:
windows/system32/hp929B.tmp was infected by the Puper.dll trojan.
So all in all the virus software that has scanned the pc have all told me
there is nothing wrong with the pc but infact I still have the problem.
please help,
Scott
