Thanks for prompt response. Your seemingly tireless and dedicated
participation in forums & newsgroups providing most valuable advice is
certainly appreciated.
I am unable to re-submit OSSMTP.dll to VirusTotal as this item was 'Moved'
previously (Sep 23) during a scan with BitDefender 8 engine version 7.03533.
I just run another scan with BitDefender 8 with engine version 7.03562 and
this time the scan was successful - no virus found.
Presently C:\Unzipped\patchmonitor[1] contain 3 item viz changes.txt ,
monitor.vbs and readme.txt . I double-clicked on to monitor.vbs and a sign
popped up "Error, the required component file
C:\Unzipped\patchmonitor[1]\OSSMTP.dll was not found".
I am now uncertain as to whether or not to re-download the patchmonitor from
<auditmypc>. Grateful if you could advise accordingly.
On a different issue concerning privacy, would you not agree that displaying
my private e-mail address on a public forum or newsgroup negates the purpose
for having a nickname? I communicated before extensively with various
internet forums and to a lesser extend with newsgroups such as aioe.cjb.net
and msnews.microsoft.com. Not ever was my e-mail address displayed beside
my nickname as it happen in your response. Could it be that my OE settings
have been compromised? Again your advise and recommendation as to overcome
this problem would be most welcome.
With best regards,
