I have a feeling your hard disk is going. Av scans do much read of the hard disk and you
had several failures. Then a CHKDSK was performed and it went OK. Then you had problems
again. This is symptomatic of a failing hard disk.

Go to the hard disk manufacturer's web site and download their diagnostic software
respective to your hard disk. After the test, you will know if the hard disk is bad or
not..
