| If you don't want to see the Internet Gateway in Windows 98, you can
| remove it: go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Windows Setup |
| Communications, and un-check "Universal Plug and Play".

I think he has a vendor related executable that communicates to to the wireless Router for
status information.
