The first thing to do is to determine that your computer is 100%
malware-free. Post back if you need detailed instructions on doing
that.
The second thing - That's an awful lot of mail to have in little old OE.
I don't use it, but it is my understanding that OE's databases can
become corrupt. If you are sure your computer is clean, I'm going to
refer you to the newsgroup specifically for OE and also to a website
run by an MS-MVP which will tell you everything you ever wanted to know
about OE.
