Sorry, it is one of the viruses that causes the machine to reboot and the
cure is a two step
process. First get the cleaner from Microsoft and then after the computer
is cleaned to
apply the patch from M$. The os is Windows XP Home. When the virus kicks
in, the
computer starts a count down from 60 seconds and then it restarts.
I think the command is "shutdown -h" but I don't remember the exact
character after the
dash.
