The idea of Security Center is good; unfortunately SC doesn't always
work. It is just a mechanism to give alerts and provides no protection,
so as long as you know your av is current (and of course NAV will let
you know when your subscription is due to expire), just tell SC not to
alert you about the antivirus status. Open SC's applet in Control Panel
and click on "Change how Security Center alerts me" on the left.
    Uncheck the av alerts.
