Yes its unbelievably stupid - I could type for an hour about exactly how
stupid I think it is, and still not quite capture the exact flavour I'm
trying to describe, so lets skip that part.

Some of us are trying to impress upon Microsoft the reasons why this is so
stupid and could they please stop doing it.

Posts like yours are a help, as they underline practical examples of the
issue - so thank you.
