SpywareBlaster also adds killbit registry entries which prevent the
install or execution of ActiveX controls. Presumably the ones in their
killbit list are actually bad for you. However, the purpose of these
killbits is to disable 3rd party software. So if you were one that
truly but for some unusual reason wanted to have some particular malware
to function on your system, SpywareBlaster's addition of the killbit
registry entry for it will prevent you from using it. However, you
could select to have SpywareBlaster add all the other killbit entries
and discard the one for your particular product.

You can use BHO Demon or WinPatrol to check what BHOs have been
installed. It's up to you whether you want them installed, but then it
was up to you to decide to let them install in the first place.
