Kelvin,
I don't know if this will help but thought I would put my sixpenny's worth
in.
I have a laptop and a desktop plus a powered USB2 hub, which I transfer
from one computer to the other.
When connected to the laptop and one or two accessories (powered up)
connected to the hub, the laptop never reaches the Windows Logo and keeps
restarting. Powering down the accessories resolves the problem. Now the
desktop does not appear to be affected with the same problem when hub is
connected with powered-up accessories.
