    Kelvin,

     After reading your post I can't determine whether all 3 of the computers
    you talk about in the beginning ALL stop at 13%...? If this is NOT the
    case, some of these disks you are trying to fix may be mechanically damaged.
    HDD are largly mechanical devices, I have had countless arms go bad in disks
    over the years. Listen for any unusual sounds emitting from the drive
    during bootup.

    As far as it being a virus: Please reply with more specifics as to whether
    these computers are related to each other in any way. For instance, you
    made mention of this virus being an external problem, does that mean these
    computers were hooked up to a network in the shop?
