You need to turn on hidden and system files for starters so you can
find the file in a search.

windows explorer
Tools > Folder Options > View > turn on what you need to see.
That would help you find it.

Check MSConfig under the start up tab you will probably find the start
up option of the file in there.

Start > Run > MSConfig > Startup

After that I would recommend Dave Lipman's Solution

That should clean you up. Take your time it's a great learning
experience.
And as always let us know how you make out.
