i recently reformatted my computer. I'm not sure what exactly was wrong
with it.

I used to have Norton and instead downloaded the 90 day trial version of
Trend Micro. Pc-cillin. I am very happy with it. It seems to let things
run faster than Norton and I was unhappy with the adware and things that
Norton could not uninstall. Not to mention that it is pretty costly. I've
only had Pc-cillin a week or so but so far so good.
