Hello, Farshad. I gather you haven't gotten your problems solved yet. I
thought we did tell you all the "professional" tools for spyware and
virus removal, but here they are again. This is what I - a professional
- use (all of which are free):
1. Manual deletion of bad files in Safe Mode. Of course you have to know
what files are bad. This takes skill, a thorough knowledge of Windows
operating systems, and a connection through another machine to Google.
2. Scan with TrendMicro's Sysclean.
3. Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, HijackThis, About:Buster. I haven't tried the
new CWShredder yet, but you can get it at www.cwshredder.net. There is
another way to remove CoolWebSearch malware outlined at
http://www.silentrunners.org/sr_cwsremoval.html.
Once system is clean, install a firewall and a full-featured av. Update
the av's virus definitions and scan again in Safe Mode.
Works for me - a professional. If this is too much for you, take the
machine to a good local computer repair shop - not a BestBuy or CompUSA
type of store.
Good luck,
Malke
