I think i have a boot virus. I turn my computer on and
it keeps restarting when gets to the point where it
starts to load the os(i think?). i can get into bios and
i can press F8 and select to start up in safe mode but it
dosn't go further then that, just keeps reseting. also i
noticed that when i unplug/turn off the power for a
second then turn it back on, it seems to start on its own.
I'm sure it not a hardware, i have had some problems with
spyware recently but i thought i fixed that. i've got the
latest updates of avg, adaware and spy bot (not that it
does much good now). i think i downloaded something
nasty, it wasn't an email thing because i havn't checked
it in ages :)
thats all the info i have right now, i hope its not too
useles.
thanks heaps
