Ed & Joost: Read the link below from Symantec about Norton
Antivirus and the Windows Security Center.
However, I also read that Symantec was possibly putting that
update on hold and would release the update later for some
reason.
Supposedly once the update is applied, Windows Security Center
will no longer display the "status unknown" on your antiviral
platform. At this point in time, Security Center should show
that Norton is installed, but "status is unknown".
I don't worry too much about this since I know my Norton
products are up to date and running. I don't need a second
program telling me what I already know.
Hope the link explains the upcoming fix.
