On the contrary, you've done a fine job of describing the problem. From
your description, this is not a software (Windows) problem but rather a
hardware problem. I would definitely suspect that your laptop is
overheating or some other hardware component is failing. Because this
is a laptop, you can't easily open it up and do hardware diagnosis like
you can with a desktop. Call Toshiba tech support or take it to a
Toshiba service center if there is such a thing.
