I didn't boot from a floppy, I hold the control key during startup and I get
several options, 'safe mode', and also 'command line'. The latter gives me
DOS at the C:\> level, rather than C:\WINDOWS> which I would get by
'restarting to DOS'. I hoped this would be the root level and give me access
to windows files but unfortunately not. I don't think I have a floppy that
boots to DOS...
Thanks, Bruce
