Symantec Virus Protection

Loaded SP2 yesterday, I am now getting an Icon which warns
me of possible problem with the Symantec Virus protection.
I run a test on Symantec Virus Protection and it came back
as that my 2003 program is working properly.How do I turn
off the Icon Shield with a X in it on Quickstart. It warns
me everytime I sign on.
