I agree. I don't like helping those who are unwilling to help themselves. The end users
often forget THEIR responsibilities when using or maintaining their computers.

| Yes. The refusal to look at a program's help file or to do any learning
| about how to use a program they've bought seems to be endemic to
| certain home users. I think part of it is fear of the computer (I have
| a lot of clients who have never right-clicked the mouse button), and of
| course part of it is laziness. Generally, if I get a request like that
| from a paying client, I'm happy to give a tutorial. In a newsgroup, I'd
| rather point to Google or an url, wouldn't you? Although in this
| particular case, it was quicker for me to just tell them about the
| Magic Right Click.
