I clicked on the icon when i saw "new updates available"
flashing in my toolbar, as i have done so many times in
the past. this time however, the install took forever and
eventually froze my computer. upon a reboot all i can see
on my screen now is a black screen and can get no further
then that. f8, excape, f1, all that does nothing.
according to toshiba, they have had MANY people call in
with this problem and the only advice they have is that im
screwed and will have to reinstall everything and all of
my documents will be lost! ALL BECAUSE OF AN AUTO-
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
