I have McAfee 8.0 and it has detected the W97M/Marker.gen
virus in 2 files. The program will not remove the virus
within Windows(freezes up). I downloaded the Scan zip file
from McAfee as requested by their tech help, but when I try
to run DOS Scan I either get the error message " 128
unknown error (code 5)" or the computer freezes up
immediately after it checks memory for virus. The darn
thing is driving me nuts,McAfee works great except with
this one bug. For kicks I tried running Stinger and that
didn't even detect the W97M/Marker.gen. Thanks for any
advice with this.
