Hi I have been trying to get my computer back from a
hijacking i'm guessing cause I can bootup the computer &
surf the internet for about 10 min. before it will stop
surfing & put up a can no display page ...So i've been
reading in this group for things to try & i've tried the
spysweeper & was wondering if just the scanner is free &
you have to purchase the removal tool or is there a free
one availible?.....It found 14 infection but i'm not able
to remove them & i'm not positive if that will take care
of all my problems if they where removed but i'm sure it
would help but I don't have $40.00 to spend for every
program that comes down the pike that'll clean something
that another won't! Help please my puter has been messed
up for 4 weeks & I hate to lose all my programs by
formating the hard drive I bought the puter used off ebay
& don't have the cd's to put the programs back on it &
just found out the home made backup cd of the windows xp
pro that came with it don't match the key # that was givin
for it!
