Computer Problem

For the past few days we have had what I guess is a pop-
up. The screen is totally blue-green and in red a
message appears: "Press Enter Key to Continue". In the
middle of the page is a small picture of the enter key.
The pop-up takes up the whole screen. No task bar or
anything else appears. We either have to keep clicking
various keys until the start button appears or just turn
the computer off. We have scanned the computer for
viruses and have sought help from aol with no results.
Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, how was it
resolved? Thanks!
