How do you update your virus program after setting up a new computer or clearing the harddrive before hitting the internet? I have setup Windows Xp on a computer and installed the virus software, but when I go to the virus update site on the internet, I get a worm or two before the download is complete and Windows xp shut me down. This is very frustrating and I hope there is a way to update the virus software before going on line. I tried Trend Micros virus file on disk but it says it is used only for Win98? What's with that.
