Re: .tmp files causing havoc.....Please help

There are no paid MSFT staff in these groups; answers are supplied by peers,
fellow users of MSFT products, who may actually even know something. If you
don't get an immediate response, it could be that nobody with any expertise
has encountered your exact problem.

All I can think of is to try and associate that file with the program which
created it. It is more likely a flaw in the program, not the .tmp file,
which is causing your problem. .tmp files are pretty passive, but it takes
activity to crash an OS.
