As a remedy for this adware that modifies the web
browser's default home page without the user's
permission, Symantec lists 4 steps. The last step
is "delete the values that were added to the registry."
I'm running Windows XP. My Registry doesn't have
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\RunOnce. It does have
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Run. However, Symantec describes that in the right
pane is "Updater"="rundl132 [Path to iefeatsl.dll]\1.new,
UpdateDll fs". That isn't what appears. Any suggestions
on how to remove this from my system?
