Yes, Taff, you can use the Recovery Console which is a command line
utility. You can also start a command prompt in Safe Mode. However,
neither of those items is DOS mode because XP and all NT-kernel based
operating systems don't have MS-DOS. There are many command line
utilities and operating systems that are not MS-DOS.
