I think my hard drive was invaded, because I have two
strange folders and I want to know if they are legitimit.

When I view system files, I see a folder named RECYCLER,
is that a standard XP system folder?

When I view system files, I see C:\Ssytem Volume
Information\ _RESTORER Is _RESTORER a legitimit XP
     system Folder?

     Thank you

Recycler is your recycle bin folder and system volume is for your system restore checkpoints both of these are legit.
