I guesss the disparity in the in the Norton Firewall 2003 and the Norton
AntiVirus 2004 might be a possibility. But I had run this same Security
Check via Symantec a few weeks ago with these very same Norton products. The
security test results were negative on ALL parameters.
The "Automated support Assistant" at the symantec support site: just gave me
this reading for the NAV 2004:

| The difference, beginning with the 2004 versions has something to do, I
| believe, with Symantec's switch to 'product activation'. Not only could
| earlier 'Personal' versions be installed on multiple systems, all with
365
| days access to virus definition updates, but renewal of access only
| required uninstalling, then reinstalling. Symantec wanted to recapture
all
| those 'running free' revenue streams, and didn't get it quite right.
