Symantec Security Check Tells Me it My AntiVirus Software Isn't Up-To-Date

I have Norton AntiVirus 2004 installed. My virus definitions are dated May
28, 2004.

I also have Norton Personal Firewall 2003 installed.

When I ran the Security Check option on my firewall via Symantec, the
results were all negative EXCEPT that it indicated that no up-to date virus
software was detected on my PC.

I ran the Automated support at the Symantec website for Norton AntiVirus,
and it showed the AntiVirus was up-to-date and gave the correct date for the
Virus Defs.

I reran the Security Check with the same results.

I also scanned for viruses using the NAV 2004. None were found.

Why is the Symantec SecuriyCheck not detecting my AV software?
