Thanks for your reply, but as it turns out the hard drive has died
according to Dell tech. I ran diagnostics on the hard drive and it
would not go past 18% in the 'read test' and would restart over
and over. They are sending a new hard drive for the computer
which is just 6 months old.

| The menu you are seeing is appearing as a result of pressing the
| 'F8' key too early. I assume you are pressing it to gain access
| to the 'Safe Mode' of Windows?

| If I were you, I would press '3', and then immediately go back
to
| repeatedly hitting the 'F8' key again.

| You should find that the Windows boot menu then appears, from
there
| you can choose 'Safe Mode'.
