Virus In Email?

I need help. Either its a virus or a problem with my email server. Whenever
I try to recieve emails, It says:

The host 'pop' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly. Account: 'kaiba67@rogers.com', Server: 'pop',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0D

What is causing this?
