For the last week or so (as if Sasser didn't create
enough havoc), when I load up my computer, I get a little
bar in my task bar that says "cOOL", but it doesn't show
anything on the desktop. Well, at first, it showed an
error screen that said "An error has occured while
executing this program. Free up harddrive space and try
again." and gave me an option of clicking OK or closing
the box. Then I downloaded some spyware removal programs
and then nothing at all came up when cOOL loaded up.

When I go into my task manager, it shows the program
there. When the error message was popping up, the process
it was associated with was patch.exe. I went into
Add/Remove programs just to see if it was there. Sure
enough, it was. So I click on "Change/Remove". A box
opened up and I could either click yes or no, but I
couldn't see what I was clicking yes or no to. There
weren't any instructions in the box, just the choices. I
fumbled through it and clicked yes a time or two (it
offered me a second box after I clicked yes, but I don't
remember what the exact option was). After that, when I
would load the task manager and try to close down that
specific application, it would come up with a blank
window with just a button that said "status". If I click
on "status" another window inside the first one would
appear. Neither window had options across the top or said
anything that I could see (and I tried highlighting with
my mouse).

I have updated Norton, I have downloaded almost every
spyware finder available(and their most recent
definitions) and have done search after search for this
cOOL thing on the web and I'm not finding ANYTHING for
it. It's driving me nuts not knowing what it is or how to
fix it.

Please tell me someone around here can help?

Thanks.
