Missing Norton AntiVirus toolbar and Explorer option to scan selected file(s)

The other day, I was talking with my friend and was told
that I should have the option of right-clicking a file or
a folder within Windows Explorer and choosing the
option "Scan with Norton Antivirus".

I found that this option was not available to me. I also
observed that I could not find the Norton AntiVirus
toolbar in either Windows Explorer or my Internet Explorer
components.

I own a PC running Windows XP. In the past I had
installed a copy of Norton Systemworks 2003. Was there a
potential installation issue that is causing me not to
have the Norton Antivirus toolbar or the option "Scan with
Norton AntiVirus"?

I have a copy of Norton AntiVirus 2004 that I will soon be
installing, once my license for the Norton AntiVirus that
is part of the Norton Systemworks 2003 expires. Will this
take care of my issue?
