Internet conection/ Saser damage ?

Aloha, I wiped my harddrive and now I can't connect to the
internet. Tried to load my Verizon DSL and it has an error
that reads "Can't connect to internet" So I checked my
"LAN" and tried to repair it and it reads an error "Failure
to repair IP renewal" I don't now what this means. Called
verizon support and they could not help. Dose any body
knows what I need to do to fix this problem myself? PLEASE
HELP. Thank you to everyone that responded. And thank you
