do i have sasser?

it started with small stuff.. like an error here and
there.

1. i started getting loads of porn websites in my
favourites... deleted them and they came back

2. Three Internet Explorer icons (about insurance &
mortgage) appear on my desktop every now and then

3. Sometimes i can't surf.. the page suddenly
goes "about.blank"

4. Now its really bad. I can't go online because after 5
minutes, my LSA Shell (export version) file encounters a
problem and it has to be closed. 1 minute later my
system32 errs and shutdowns.

I'm in the process of backing up all my files before
reformatting it. Is it Sasser? If yes, i will download
the patch and spybots and adawares to avoid this damn
thing again! Please advise. Have never really check
through my whole system till this virus arrived.
