I have tried everything that has been previously suggested here on this
newsgroup but I have not been able to get rid of this trojan located in
owner/localsettings/temp/_update. I have Windows XP with cable internet
connection using free version of AVG and XP firewall, but AVG will not heal
it. I turned off system restore and located the file but was unable to
rename, delete, or any of that manually either. I have gone into safe mode
but AVG will not run in safe mode, says it doesn't have driver core or
something. I have deleted the file in safe mode in all user accounts but
when I go back to normal mode and run AVG, it is still there. Does anyone
have any more suggestions on what I might be able to do to rid myself of
this infestation?
